Does anyone else feel Jimi Hendrix was an underrated singer?

Especially in quieter moments….he had a very soothing voice, underrated in my mind. He didn’t need the guitar wizadry and tricks to get his feeling across.

You guys both make good points, I’m not saying Jimi Hendrix had the voice of Roger Daltrey or Freddie Mercury. What I was saying, people say he was a brilliant guitarist….which we know, but he could have cut out the guitar tricks and released an acoustic album and been just as great in my opinion.

His voice certainly was good enough for quieter songs, and to carry songs without the guitar magic.

Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, BB King, Muddy Waters, Sly and the Family Stone, Lionel Richie, Prince and an infinite amount of blues rock singers have brought ingenuity and originality to the music scene more than you little brain can take. Have you heard of R&B? Blues? Rock and Roll? Rock/Pop(the section you posted on)? ALL of these genres can be attributed to african american heritage and creation. Jimi Hendrix not only was a beacon of anti-racism in the 1960s for playing with two white dudes, but he was a badass singer and damn good guitar player!

What edition is this Magic The Gathering Goblin King Card?

Okay, so I have a collection of MTG cards that I’m trying to catalog, and I’m using the actual Wizards website. My problem is that I have a Goblin King Card, it has the same picture as the alpha through 4th edition, but it has the wording of the newer Goblin King cards. It’s got to be a 5th edition or earlier, copyright date indicates its not alpha or beta( I think) as it is copyrighted for 93-98. It matches none of the editions on the wizard website, so I’m curious, maybe it’s a misprint, and if so, is it worth more? It may have come out of a box set somewhere. Any ideas?
