Where is the best place to sell my old Magic Cards?
I have a few of the long boxes of magic cards. I played a long time ago and stopped before the cards got a new look. I do not remember much about them, and want to know what a couple of those boxes of assorted cards could be worth, and where to sell them.
I would suggest craigslist.com if you are in the US. Take a picture of the cards in their box, so people can get an idea of what they go for. Also, estimate how many cards there are. Most commons can be found for about 5 cents a piece, so multiply your estimate by .01-.04.
I would recommend going through them, and doing a price search for a few rares and uncommons. Especially if you’ve had them for awhile, as some cards with net about 20 dollars and up a piece (from older sets some go for 100 dollars and up). There is no way I could (or anyone could) tell you how much they are worth, because you could have a box worth of alpha and beta cards worth a total. of 10 dollars, and you could have a box worth of newer addition cards that would fetch about 300 dollars. Especially if you’ve had them for awhile, as some cards with net about 20 dollars and up a piece (from older sets some go for 100 dollars and up).
Generally the response you get will depend on your area, but keep trying, you will find someone eventually who will give those cards a home.
